Al-Baha Cooperative Beekeepers Association: trains staff of the Agricultural Development Fund
The General Administration of the Agricultural Development Fund in Riyadh and the Cooperative Beekeepers Association in Al-Baha signed an agreement under which the association trains fund staff involved in loans for beekeepers across all regions of the Kingdom. Dr. Ahmed Al-Khazim, chairman of the association, said the first five-day course would begin on 15 March with about 20 employees representing the fund's offices nationwide as the first cohort. The program introduces how to handle bees, breeding methods, bee and hive types, bee products, and the beekeeping regulatory system and unified lending conditions; training is delivered by the association's technical team alongside faculty and graduate students from the Engineer Abdullah Bugshan Chair for Bee Research at King Saud University.
